LION ROAR, 1/35
LE35075 - Char B1 bis (for Tamiya 35282)

This set comes in a little box and has five photo etched sheets and two turned gun barrels for the 47mm and 75mm cannons. The PE allows the choice between the two versions of the tank: with narrow or wide fenders as well as their respective muffler covers (short or long). The quality of the PE parts is superb, with parts like the little oval plate with the Renault name and the casting numbers for use on the hull front just below the 75mm gun being quite remarkable. But the most amazing parts are the three engine deck intake grills which are pre-formed with raised open louvers. They look amazing! Two can be placed directly on the model, but the third needs to have the engraved grill in the engine deck opened. This should be done carefully so you do not damage any nearby detail. The hinges of these grills allow for an open or closed position. This will be very suitable for an abandoned AFV being inspected by the German Army. Since the model doesn't have an interior it is recommended to close those gaps with black plastic or card. As mentioned, Lion Roar also offers two turned metal guns, with outstanding rifling in both, and the two notches in the 75mm are of the correct size.
Strongly recommended.
