This is the first volume in a new series of thematic modelling books and is dedicated to making water effects in modelling. In addition to the fabulous photos of the vignettes and dioramas, the book includes superb step by step articles that show how to make water with transparent acrylic resins and specific products designed for our hobby, like the Still Waters from Vallejo. In order to have a place to put your newly created water, there are also excellent step by step articles on how to make groundwork, and even scratchbuilding a fir tree. The final article is on the Tupolev, which represents atypical naval modelling as it is in 1/35 scale, and for its painting techniques which are typically used on military vehicles.
