MODELLING FIRST MODELING CONTEST
"no fear, no limits" Xtreme Modelling, with the help of several well known modelling brands, organizes its First Modeling Contest for their readers, in their three different editions: English, Spanish and German. The goal of the contest "no fear, no limits" (the magazine slogan) is to encourage modelers to tackle new challenges or try new techniques to improve their models, always under the premise that modeling is a hobby and its essence is to enjoy it, so all sort of models can be entered, from the more classic to the bolder ones. There are two general categories: Until World War Two and Post-War.
Modelers can compete in three classes: Military Vehicles, Dioramas and
vignettes, and Figures in any scale between 1/76 and 1/35. The entries
are limited to two per modeller in total. Since this is a contest limited to Xtreme Modelling readers competitors must also send the buy proof of five issues of Xtreme Modelling (This buy proof can be found in the last pages of the magazine). Subscribers whose subscription period ends later than April 30th don’t have to send these buy proofs. The best 4 or 5 photographs of each entry will be selected and posted in the Xtreme Modelling web page for display. Works entered into competition must not have appeared on magazines before. The authors awarded The Best work of the Contest prize and the two first prizes in each category will write an article on their works that will be published in Xtreme Modelling.
